We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The Catering Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the catering operations within a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Ensure that all meals are prepared according to dietary restrictions and special requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and rotating stock.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors, addressing any concerns or special requests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a catering or food service role.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in food safety or hospitality management.
