Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of laboratory services. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct a variety of laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Prepare and analyze specimens in accordance with established protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Record and report test results accurately and promptly, ensuring clarity and thoroughness in documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss test results, provide insights, and contribute to patient management decisions.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain laboratory accreditation and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of laboratory procedures and policies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated with advancements in laboratory technology and techniques, participating in continuous education and professional development.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
- A valid license or certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technician recognized by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, instrumentation, and safety protocols.
- Proficient in laboratory information systems and data management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with team members and healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in laboratory work.
