Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Programmer to join our dynamic team in the financial services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications that support our financial operations and services. The ideal individual will have a strong background in programming languages, a keen understanding of financial systems, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement software applications for financial services including trading platforms, risk management systems, and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or others as needed.
- Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure functionality, performance, and security of applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications by analyzing and improving system performance and reliability.
- Assist in the integration of third-party APIs and services to enhance our software capabilities.
- Document software design, code, and application procedures for future reference and compliance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to improve coding standards and team capabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development and financial services.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in software programming, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.
- Experience with database management systems (SQL, Oracle, etc.) and familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
- Understanding of financial concepts, trading systems, and regulatory requirements in the financial industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies is preferred.
