Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computer Repair Technician to join our team in the dynamic field of construction in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a solid understanding of computer hardware and software systems. This role is critical in ensuring that all computing devices used on site and in the office are functioning optimally to support construction operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues for desktop computers, laptops, and other related devices.
- Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades of computer systems to enhance performance and reliability.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and application software as needed.
- Assist in setting up computer systems for new employees, including hardware and software installations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on all devices.
- Collaborate with IT support teams to identify and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Provide training and support to employees on the proper use of computing equipment and software applications.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures when handling electronic equipment.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to computer repair and maintenance.
- Support the implementation of new technologies that can improve efficiency in construction processes.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Computer Repair Technician or similar role (2-5 years).
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Familiarity with construction-related software applications is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent are desirable.

Working Conditions:

- The position may require working on construction sites, which may expose the technician to various weather conditions and environments.
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
