Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Operations Program Manager to lead and oversee construction projects within the financial services sector. This is a critical role that requires a blend of construction management expertise and an understanding of financial services operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex construction programs and will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams, external contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and budget overruns. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement necessary adjustments to project plans.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring that financial targets are met. Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction work meets industry standards and complies with local regulations and safety codes. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and construction staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that all external resources meet project specifications and timelines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with local laws, regulations, and industry best practices, particularly in the financial services sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of financial services operations and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
