We are seeking a skilled and experienced Court Reporter to join our team in Dubai within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in court reporting, legal transcription, and a solid understanding of the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
- Attend legal proceedings, hearings, and depositions to accurately transcribe spoken word into written form
- Prepare transcripts of court proceedings, including testimony, arguments, and rulings
- Provide accurate and timely transcripts for use in legal proceedings, appeals, and other related activities
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of court reporting
- Collaborate with legal professionals, judges, and other court personnel to ensure accurate and complete transcripts
- Utilize specialized equipment and software to capture and transcribe spoken word efficiently
- Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards related to court reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Court Reporting, or related field
- Certified Court Reporter (CCR) designation preferred
- Strong knowledge and understanding of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in stenography and transcription software
- Excellent listening and typing skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
