Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Crop Advisor to join our retail team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of agronomy, crop management, and sustainable agricultural practices, along with excellent customer service skills. As a Crop Advisor, you will play a critical role in advising our clients on the best practices for maximizing crop yields and ensuring sustainable farming methods.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert advice to customers on crop selection, pest management, soil health, and fertilization strategies tailored to the local climate and soil conditions in Abu Dhabi.
- Conduct field visits to assess crop health, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions to farmers and agricultural stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops on best agricultural practices and new product offerings to enhance customer knowledge and engagement.
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote and market agricultural products and services, ensuring that customers receive the most relevant solutions for their needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, technologies, and trends in crop management and sustainable agriculture to provide accurate and timely information to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, consultations, and recommendations to track progress and follow up on client needs.
- Foster strong relationships with local farmers, agricultural businesses, and industry organizations to enhance the company’s reputation and market presence.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional campaigns to educate customers about the benefits of our products and services.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in crop advising, agronomy, or related agricultural fields.
- Strong understanding of local agricultural practices, crop types, and environmental considerations in the Abu Dhabi region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using agricultural software and tools for crop management and analysis.
- Valid UAE driver’s license and willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
