Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Data Processing Manager to oversee and enhance our data processing operations within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, analytics, and team leadership, along with a passion for improving healthcare outcomes through the effective use of data. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, security, and accessibility of healthcare data, while also driving initiatives that leverage data insights to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Management: Oversee the collection, processing, and storage of healthcare data, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of data analysts and processing specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and continuous professional development.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data processing workflows and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data handling.
- Data Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain data quality standards and procedures, conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and provide actionable insights that inform decision-making.
- Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on data processing activities, trends, and outcomes to senior management, highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations.
- Technology Implementation: Evaluate and implement new data processing technologies and tools to enhance capabilities and improve data analytics.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that all data processing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, and that appropriate security measures are in place to protect sensitive patient information.
- Training & Support: Develop training programs for staff on data processing tools and methodologies, fostering a culture of data literacy across the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data processing, data management, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data regulations and standards.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and data integration is an advantage.
