We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Operations Manager to oversee our database systems and ensure their smooth operation within our Financial Services firm based in Dubai. The Database Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, security, and performance of our databases to support our business operations.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems
- Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Develop and implement database security policies and procedures
- Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve database issues
- Manage database access and permissions for users
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in database management
- Train and mentor junior staff members on database operations and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- [X] years of experience in database administration or operations
- Proficiency in SQL and database management tools
- Strong understanding of database security and compliance requirements
- Experience with cloud-based databases is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
