Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental hygienists and ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care. With a focus on consumer goods, the position will entail assisting in various dental procedures, maintaining equipment, and providing outstanding customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist dental hygienists in performing dental cleanings, examinations, and preventive treatments for patients.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures by ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary dental supplies and equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dental hygienist or dentist.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care to promote overall health.
- Record and maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment notes, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk operations as needed, including handling patient inquiries and billing issues.
- Assist in the implementation of infection control procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in dental hygiene and consumer goods to enhance patient care and service quality.
- Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient experience and ensure the smooth operation of the dental practice.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or certification in dental hygiene or dental assisting from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental office or clinical setting.
- Proficient in the use of dental equipment and instruments.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
