Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Nurse to join our dynamic team in Ras Al Khaimah. This position is ideal for a compassionate healthcare professional with a strong interest in dermatology and pharmaceuticals. The Dermatology Nurse will provide specialized nursing care to patients with skin disorders, assist in clinical procedures, and collaborate with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Patient Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with various dermatological conditions, including but not limited to acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin infections.

- Clinical Procedures: Assist dermatologists in performing skin assessments, biopsies, cryotherapy, and other dermatological procedures. Ensure all equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and maintained.

- Patient Education: Educate patients on skin care regimens, medication administration, and other treatment options. Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications to enhance skin health.

- Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and report any adverse reactions to the supervising physician.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.

- Collaboration: Work closely with dermatologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

- Research and Development: Participate in ongoing research and development projects related to dermatology and pharmaceuticals, assisting in clinical trials and data collection as needed.

- Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest advancements in dermatology, pharmaceuticals, and nursing best practices through professional development and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution. Current nursing license in the UAE.

- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a dermatology-related role or in a clinical setting focused on skin care.

- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.

- Certifications: Certification in dermatology nursing (e.g., Dermatology Nurse Certification) is an advantage.

- Language: Proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Working Conditions:

- The Dermatology Nurse will work in a clinical setting, which may include exposure to various dermatological conditions. The role may require standing for extended periods and performing tasks that require physical stamina.

- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends, may be required based on patient needs.
