Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Nurse to join our dedicated team in Ras Al Khaimah. This role is essential in providing specialized nursing care to patients with dermatological concerns within the aerospace and defense sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dermatology nursing and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care while adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ dermatological conditions, taking detailed medical histories and performing skin examinations.
- Collaborate with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with various skin conditions.
- Administer prescribed treatments, medications, and therapies, including topical treatments, injections, and phototherapy, as per established protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on skin care practices, the importance of sun protection, and management of chronic skin conditions.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, response to treatments, and any adverse reactions, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the management of dermatological procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and laser treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dermatology nursing practices and aerospace and defense industry standards to provide optimal care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in dermatological nursing within the organization.
- Provide support and guidance to junior nursing staff and assist in the training of new team members.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Current nursing license and certification in dermatology nursing (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in dermatology nursing.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of dermatological conditions and treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and adapt to fast-paced settings.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and patient care standards specific to the aerospace and defense sector is a plus.
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions:

- The position may require occasional travel within the UAE and adherence to specific safety protocols due to the nature of the aerospace and defense industry.
- Flexibility in work hours may be required to accommodate patient needs and operational demands.
