Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Engine Specialist to join our team in Dubai, focusing on the construction sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with diesel engines, particularly in heavy machinery and equipment used in construction. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel engines to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of diesel engines and related systems in construction machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair work on diesel engines, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Analyze engine performance data to identify issues and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance work and minimize impact on project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including parts used and labor hours, in compliance with company standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest diesel engine technologies and advancements, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Assist in the procurement of spare parts and inventory management to ensure availability for timely repairs.
- Implement and adhere to health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel mechanics or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with diesel engines in a construction setting.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine components, systems, and diagnostic tools.
- Proficient in using electronic diagnostic equipment and software for troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
