Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dog Groomer Assistant to join our team in Dubai. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about animal care and grooming, particularly in an agricultural setting where we focus on the well-being and hygiene of dogs in a farming environment. The ideal candidate will assist the head groomer in providing high-quality grooming services, ensuring the comfort and safety of all dogs in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assistance in Grooming: Help the head groomer with bathing, drying, brushing, and trimming dogs as per breed standards and client requests.
- Animal Handling: Safely handle and restrain dogs during grooming sessions, ensuring their comfort and reducing stress.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment, and cleaning grooming tables and bathing areas.
- Customer Interaction: Greet clients and their pets, providing excellent customer service and answering any questions regarding grooming services and products.
- Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of grooming services performed, including specific grooming details and any notes regarding the health and behavior of the dogs.
- Product Knowledge: Learn about various grooming products and tools, including shampoos, conditioners, and grooming equipment, to assist in recommending appropriate products to clients.
- Health Monitoring: Observe dogs for any signs of health issues or abnormalities and report these to the head groomer or veterinary staff as necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and positive environment for both staff and dogs.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a pet grooming environment or a related field (0-7 years preferred).
- A genuine love and understanding of dogs, as well as an ability to handle different breeds and temperaments.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of dog grooming techniques, tools, and products is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new grooming methods and practices.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
