Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drilling Engineer Assistant to join our dynamic team in Al Ain, specializing in the pharmaceutical industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain hands-on experience in drilling operations within a highly regulated and innovative field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Drilling Engineer in planning and executing drilling operations for pharmaceutical research and development projects.
- Support the design and implementation of drilling programs, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to drilling activities, including geological and environmental assessments.
- Monitor drilling operations in real-time, reporting any anomalies or issues to the Drilling Engineer for prompt resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling parameters, equipment usage, and material consumption to assist in project evaluations and budgeting.
- Participate in pre-drilling and post-drilling meetings, contributing insights and recommendations based on operational data.
- Help in the preparation of technical reports and documentation related to drilling activities and project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations during drilling operations.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff and interns as required.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to drilling operations in the pharmaceutical sector.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in drilling operations or engineering, preferably within the pharmaceutical or related industries.
- Strong understanding of drilling techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Proficient in the use of drilling software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work.
