Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dry Cleaner Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi, within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, an understanding of fabric care, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the daily operations of the dry cleaning facility, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Receive and inspect garments and textiles from customers, noting any special cleaning instructions and identifying stains or damages.
- Operate dry cleaning machines and equipment, following all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Sort and classify garments based on the type of fabric and cleaning requirements, ensuring proper handling and treatment.
- Prepare garments for cleaning by removing buttons, embellishments, or other items that may be damaged during the cleaning process.
- Monitor the cleaning process and perform quality checks to ensure garments are cleaned to the company's standards.
- Assist in pressing, finishing, and packaging cleaned garments for customer pick-up, ensuring a neat and professional presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the dry cleaning machines, pressing tables, and storage areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, providing information about services, and resolving any issues or complaints effectively.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking cleaning supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Stay informed about the latest cleaning techniques and equipment, as well as fabric care best practices.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in the dry cleaning industry or a related field.
- Familiarity with various types of fabrics and appropriate cleaning methods.
- Basic knowledge of dry cleaning equipment and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
