We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to fill the position of Drywall Installer Assistant in our Financial Services office in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Drywall Installers to assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of drywall in our office building.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in measuring, cutting, and installing drywall panels
- Mix and apply compound to seams and joints
- Sand and smooth seams and joints to achieve a seamless finish
- Assist in hanging and finishing drywall ceilings
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a construction or maintenance role
- Familiarity with drywall installation techniques and tools
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in drywall installation or related field
- Experience working in a commercial or office setting
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
