Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Ecologist to join our team in Dubai, focusing on construction projects. The Ecologist will be responsible for conducting ecological surveys, assessments, and monitoring to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct ecological surveys to assess the impact of construction projects on local flora and fauna
- Develop and implement mitigation measures to minimize the environmental impact of construction activities
- Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit conditions
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate ecological considerations into project planning and design
- Prepare reports and recommendations based on ecological assessments and monitoring data
- Stay current on environmental laws and regulations relevant to construction projects in Dubai
- Educate project teams and stakeholders on the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
- [Number of years] years of experience in ecological assessments and monitoring, preferably in a construction or development context
- Strong knowledge of local flora and fauna in Dubai and the UAE
- Experience with GIS software and ecological modeling tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
