We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Economist Assistant to join our team in Dubai, specializing in the transportation and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics and data analysis, with a keen interest in the transportation and logistics sector.

As an Economist Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting senior economists in conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports related to the transportation and logistics industry. You will help in forecasting market trends, evaluating economic impact studies, and developing economic models to support decision-making processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data on economic trends, market conditions, and industry performance in the transportation and logistics sector.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and economic forecasts for senior management.
- Conduct research on relevant economic issues and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop economic models and cost-benefit analyses for various projects.
- Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact the transportation and logistics sector.
- Support in the preparation of economic impact assessments and feasibility studies for new initiatives or investments.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, STATA, or R.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Prior experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
