Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Economist Assistant to support our real estate analysis team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in data collection, economic modeling, and the preparation of comprehensive reports aimed at guiding investment decisions and strategic planning within the real estate sector. Key Responsibilities:

- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Gather, organize, and analyze economic data related to real estate markets, including property prices, rental rates, and demographic trends.
- Utilize statistical tools and software to conduct quantitative analysis to identify market trends and forecast future developments.

- Research Support:
- Assist in conducting market research to evaluate economic conditions and their impact on the real estate sector.
- Compile and maintain databases of economic indicators, property listings, and market reports for internal use.

- Report Preparation:
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings, economic forecasts, and market analysis for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior economists to contribute to the preparation of policy briefs and strategic recommendations.

- Economic Modeling:
- Assist in developing and maintaining economic models that capture the dynamics of the real estate market.
- Participate in scenario analysis to assess the impact of economic changes on real estate investments.

- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and operations, to support data-driven decision-making.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including government agencies and industry associations, to gather insights and collaborate on research projects.

- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance to the economics team, including scheduling meetings, organizing documentation, and managing project timelines.
- Stay current with economic trends, regulations, and policies affecting the real estate market in Dubai and the broader UAE region.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in economic research, analysis, or a related field, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., STATA, R, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
