Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Education Manager to join our healthcare organization in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing educational programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our staff are equipped with the latest medical knowledge and practices, ultimately leading to improved patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Program Development: Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs tailored to the needs of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.

- Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills among staff, utilizing surveys, focus groups, and individual interviews.

- Curriculum Design: Develop high-quality curricula and instructional materials, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, best practices, and current healthcare trends.

- Training Delivery: Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions using various instructional methods, including e-learning, simulation, and hands-on training.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical leaders, department heads, and external partners to identify educational needs and create interdisciplinary training programs.

- Evaluation & Metrics: Establish metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of educational initiatives and continuously improve programs based on feedback and outcomes.

- Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all educational programs comply with local and international standards and regulations governing healthcare education.

- Mentorship & Support: Provide ongoing support and mentorship to staff seeking to enhance their professional development and educational endeavors.

- Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the education department's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for training programs.

- Research & Trends: Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and innovations in healthcare education and practice to ensure programs remain relevant and impactful.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare education, training, or a related role, with a proven track record of developing and delivering educational programs.

- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse audience.

- Proficiency in using educational technologies and learning management systems.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements related to healthcare education.

- Familiarity with the healthcare landscape in Dubai and the broader UAE region is highly desirable.
