Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Consumer Goods sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of energy projects that aim to enhance sustainability and energy efficiency within our operations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a strong understanding of the consumer goods industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our energy initiatives and ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning and execution of energy-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, finance, and sustainability, to identify energy efficiency opportunities and develop project proposals.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate potential energy projects and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in accordance with organizational standards and best practices.
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to achieve project objectives.
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate project execution.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in energy management and sustainability to inform project strategies.
- Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote energy awareness and sustainability initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Energy Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in project management, specifically within the energy sector or related industries, with a focus on consumer goods preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing energy projects, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, or sustainability initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of energy management systems, sustainability practices, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
