Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Assistant to join our dynamic team in the financial services sector. The successful candidate will support engineering projects, contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions, and assist in ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:
- Assist engineers in the design and development of financial technology solutions.
- Participate in system testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Support data analysis and reporting activities, including the preparation of technical documentation.

2. Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with project teams to track project progress, timelines, and deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout project lifecycles.

3. Research and Development:
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and trends in the financial services industry to support engineering initiatives.
- Analyze and document findings to inform project decisions and strategies.

4. Quality Assurance:
- Help maintain high standards of quality assurance in engineering projects.
- Participate in the review and testing of new systems and processes to ensure they meet business requirements.

5. Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance to engineering teams as needed, including scheduling meetings and managing documentation.
- Maintain organized records of project files, technical documents, and regulatory compliance materials.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role within the financial services sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with financial systems, software development methodologies, and project management principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
