Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fashion Operations Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the intersection of fashion and the aerospace and defense sector. This unique position requires a blend of fashion industry expertise with an understanding of the specialized requirements and standards of the aerospace and defense markets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, a strong operational background, and the ability to navigate complex logistical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the fashion department, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing supply chain logistics, inventory control, and production scheduling.

- Collaboration: Work closely with design teams, engineers, and product developers to create fashion items that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate seamless communication and problem-solving.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all fashion products comply with the relevant aerospace and defense regulations and standards. This includes understanding the specific requirements for materials, safety, and performance.

- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in both fashion and aerospace. Analyze competitor offerings and consumer preferences to inform product development and marketing strategies.

- Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects from conception to execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Utilize project management tools to track progress and report on key performance indicators.

- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of fashion professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate professional development opportunities.

- Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the budget for the fashion operations department. Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high-quality standards.

- Sustainability Initiatives: Promote and implement sustainable practices within the fashion operations, aligning with the broader corporate sustainability goals of the organization.

- Customer Engagement: Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences. Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fashion operations, preferably within the aerospace and defense sector.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics specific to fashion.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to aerospace and defense.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fashion industry software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
