Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fashion Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics and supply chain processes within the fashion industry. This role will require a dynamic individual who possesses a deep understanding of fashion operations, coupled with strong logistical expertise. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are delivered efficiently and effectively, aligning with our brand standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Manage the end-to-end logistics operations, including inventory management, warehousing, order fulfillment, and distribution, ensuring timely delivery of fashion products to various retail locations and customers.
- Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and terms.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory. Implement systems for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in logistics and operations. Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and enhance operational performance.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics and operations professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including merchandising, sales, and marketing, to align operational strategies with business objectives and customer needs.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements relevant to transportation, logistics, and safety standards. Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the operations budget. Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining efficient logistics operations and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in operations management within the fashion, retail, or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
- Proven experience in managing teams and driving operational improvements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
