Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Financial Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Information Technology sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and providing analytical support to drive strategic decisions. This position requires a blend of financial acumen, operational expertise, and a solid understanding of technology-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management regarding financial performance and operational efficiency.

- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and adherence to payment terms.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with vendors and customers efficiently.

- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in financial operations and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work collaboratively with IT teams to leverage technology solutions that streamline financial processes.

- Compliance and Audit Support:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including tax and reporting requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing queries as they arise.

- Collaboration and Communication:
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of financial accountability and transparency.
- Communicate financial insights and recommendations clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in financial operations, preferably within the Information Technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial modeling software).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of local financial regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
