Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Florist Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is essential in supporting the floral design process and assisting in the daily operations of our floral department, which operates within the telecommunications industry. As a Florist Assistant, you will work closely with our lead florist to create stunning floral arrangements that reflect our brand and cater to our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and arrangement of floral displays for various events, occasions, and corporate functions.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral shop, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels of flowers, plants, and supplies, and assist in ordering as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, taking orders, and offering recommendations on floral arrangements and care.
- Collaborate with the lead florist to brainstorm and execute new design ideas that align with current trends.
- Prepare and condition flowers for display, ensuring they are fresh and visually appealing.
- Assist in the delivery of floral arrangements to clients, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of floral design and customer service.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a florist assistant or in a related role is preferred, with a minimum of 1-5 years of experience.
- Strong creativity and an eye for design, with a passion for flowers and floral arrangements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic knowledge of flower care and handling techniques.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying hours as required.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry heavy items.
