Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Front Desk Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the construction industry in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring exceptional customer service, and providing administrative support to various departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and administrative roles, with experience in the construction sector being a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Leadership: Lead and manage the front desk team, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet visitors, clients, and contractors professionally, addressing inquiries and providing information about our services and projects in a courteous manner.
- Administrative Duties: Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring effective communication and timely responses. Maintain accurate records and manage documentation related to visitor logs, project inquiries, and contractor appointments.
- Coordination: Liaise with various departments within the company to facilitate smooth operations, including scheduling meetings, coordinating site visits, and managing appointments for project managers and executives.
- Problem Solving: Effectively resolve issues and complaints from clients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Training & Development: Train new front desk staff on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance of the front desk area, ensuring it is presentable, organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on front desk activities, customer feedback, and operational efficiency for management review.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in the construction industry or a similar environment.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with front desk management software.
