Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fundraising Manager with a passion for agriculture and sustainable development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing innovative fundraising strategies to support our agricultural initiatives in the region. This role requires exceptional communication skills, creativity, and a strong ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising Strategy Development:
- Design and implement comprehensive fundraising plans aligned with the organization’s mission and goals.
- Identify funding opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.

2. Donor Engagement:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring regular communication and engagement.
- Organize donor appreciation events and activities to strengthen relationships and encourage ongoing support.

3. Grant Writing and Management:
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government bodies, foundations, and other funding sources.
- Prepare and submit compelling grant proposals, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines.
- Monitor and report on the progress of funded projects, ensuring transparency and accountability.

4. Networking and Partnerships:
- Build and maintain partnerships with local, regional, and international organizations, businesses, and government entities to enhance fundraising efforts.
- Represent the organization at events, conferences, and meetings to promote our mission and expand our network.

5. Budgeting and Financial Reporting:
- Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage fundraising budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress, analyzing trends and making recommendations for improvement.

6. Marketing and Communications:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials that effectively communicate the organization’s mission and impact.
- Utilize social media and other digital platforms to raise awareness and attract potential donors.

7. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor fundraising staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing fundraising team environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, with a focus on agriculture or related sectors.
- Proven track record of securing funding from various sources, including government grants, private donors, and corporate sponsorships.
- Strong understanding of the agricultural landscape in the UAE and the Middle East.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the organization’s mission effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in fundraising software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
