We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Gaffer Assistant to join our team in the financial services industry in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will assist the Gaffer in various lighting and electrical tasks on set, ensuring that all lighting equipment is properly set up and maintained for film and video productions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Gaffer in setting up and adjusting lighting equipment based on the requirements of the production
- Help with the installation and maintenance of various lighting fixtures, cables, and accessories
- Operate lighting controls and adjust lighting levels as directed by the Gaffer
- Assist in troubleshooting any technical issues related to lighting equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on set
- Assist in packing up and storing lighting equipment after the completion of the production
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Gaffer Assistant or similar role in the film or video production industry
- Knowledge of various lighting techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
