We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Gaffer Assistant in the Consumer Goods industry. The Gaffer Assistant will work closely with the Gaffer to support the lighting and electrical needs of various projects within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Gaffer in setting up and operating lighting equipment for film, television, or commercial productions
- Handle electrical equipment and ensure all safety protocols are followed
- Assist in troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during production
- Collaborate with the production team to achieve the desired lighting effects for each project
- Maintain and organize lighting equipment inventory
- Assist in the transportation and setup of lighting equipment on location
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role for at least 2-5 years
- Strong knowledge of lighting equipment and electrical systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed
