Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Contractor to oversee and manage construction projects within the financial services sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, a thorough understanding of financial service infrastructure requirements, and the ability to lead projects from inception to completion while ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all construction activities for financial service facilities, including office spaces, data centers, and client service centers.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design specifications meet operational requirements.

2. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all construction practices comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards specific to the financial services sector.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.

3. Contract Management:
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and quality assurance.
- Manage and review all contracts to ensure compliance with legal and financial regulations pertinent to the financial services industry.

4. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor construction teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

5. Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders, outlining progress, challenges, and solutions.

6. Financial Oversight:
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, providing financial forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to enhance project efficiency without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in general contracting, specifically within the financial services industry or related sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes relevant to financial service facilities.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
