Position: Geographer (Construction)

Location: Dubai, UAE

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Geographer to join our construction team in Dubai. As a Geographer, you will be responsible for studying the Earth's physical features and its atmosphere, as well as human activities and their impact on the environment. Your primary focus will be on analyzing geographic data, conducting research, and creating maps and reports to aid in the planning and development of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting fieldwork to collect data on landforms, natural resources, and infrastructure
- Analyzing geographic data using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software
- Creating maps, charts, and reports to present findings to project teams
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and urban planners to incorporate geographic data into construction plans
- Conducting environmental impact assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and sustainability goals
- Providing expertise on geographical factors that may affect construction projects, such as soil composition, water resources, and climate patterns
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in geographic technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field
- [X] years of experience working as a Geographer in a construction-related role
- Proficiency in GIS software and other geographic analysis tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices
