Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the financial services industry in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing expert geotechnical analysis and support for various projects, ensuring that all engineering solutions are safe, sustainable, and economically viable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct geotechnical investigations and assessments to evaluate soil and rock properties, groundwater conditions, and site stability for various financial infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, and project managers, to design and implement effective geotechnical solutions that meet project objectives.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, project specifications, and design calculations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Utilize geotechnical modeling software to analyze data and develop recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, and excavation support systems.
- Perform fieldwork, including site investigations, sampling, and instrumentation installation, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and environmental considerations.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, including monitoring site conditions and advising on geotechnical issues that may arise.
- Stay updated on the latest geotechnical engineering trends, technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to the financial services sector.
- Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored geotechnical solutions that align with their financial projects.
- Participate in risk assessment and management processes to identify potential geotechnical risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably within the financial services sector or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical design principles, soil mechanics, and foundation engineering.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software, such as PLAXIS, LPILE, or similar modeling tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex geotechnical data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards related to geotechnical engineering in the UAE.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
