Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Golf Instructor Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf and a strong interest in promoting the sport within the context of agriculture, utilizing our unique facilities to enhance the learning experience. The Golf Instructor Assistant will support the main instructor in delivering high-quality golf lessons, while also engaging with students and promoting sustainable practices in golf course management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the lead golf instructor in planning and implementing golf lessons for students of all skill levels, including beginners to advanced players.
- Provide individual and group instruction, focusing on swing mechanics, short game techniques, and course management strategies.
- Help organize and manage golf clinics, workshops, and special events to engage the community and promote the sport of golf.
- Maintain a clean and organized practice environment, ensuring that all equipment is in good condition and readily available for use.
- Support the development of training materials and resources that incorporate agricultural principles, such as sustainable course maintenance and eco-friendly practices.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere for all students, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles.
- Assist with the evaluation of student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Promote the benefits of golf as a tool for physical fitness and mental well-being, emphasizing the connection between sports and agriculture.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless operation of golf programs and activities.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in golf instruction and course management, and share knowledge with students and colleagues.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in sports management, recreation, or a related field is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in golf instruction, coaching, or related activities.
- Strong understanding of golf fundamentals and an ability to communicate effectively with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for teaching and promoting the sport.
- Knowledge of agricultural practices as they relate to golf course maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate lesson schedules.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred but not required.
