Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) to support our Real Estate program in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a vital role in facilitating the educational experience of undergraduate students, assisting faculty members, and contributing to the overall academic environment within the department. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or current graduate student with a strong interest in real estate, academic support, and a passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist faculty members in the preparation and delivery of course materials, including lectures, assignments, and examinations related to real estate topics.
- Support the development of instructional materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
- Conduct tutorial sessions and review classes to reinforce student understanding of course content and provide additional support.
- Grade assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback to enhance student learning.
- Maintain office hours to assist students with queries related to course content, assignments, and academic guidance.
- Collaborate with faculty and other teaching assistants to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and assessment methods.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Real Estate program.
- Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and events related to real estate and urban development.
- Engage with students in a professional and supportive manner to foster a positive learning environment.
- Conduct research and assist faculty in ongoing projects related to real estate, real estate finance, property management, urban planning, and sustainability.

Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics, Urban Planning, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in real estate, academia, or a related area.
- Strong knowledge of real estate principles, practices, and current market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and faculty.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic academic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a teaching or tutoring role.
- Familiarity with research methodologies and data analysis related to real estate.
- Understanding of the real estate market in Abu Dhabi and the broader UAE context.
