Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Gym Manager Assistant to support the daily operations of our fitness facility located in a prestigious real estate development in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Support:
- Assist the Gym Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring the facility runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Help implement and maintain gym policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
2. Customer Service:
- Greet and assist members and guests, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct facility tours for potential members and promote gym services and programs.
3. Membership Management:
- Assist with membership sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain member records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
4. Staff Coordination:
- Support the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff members, helping to create a positive work environment.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
5. Program Support:
- Collaborate with the Gym Manager to develop and promote fitness programs, classes, and special events.
- Help organize and coordinate fitness challenges, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
6. Facility Maintenance:
- Monitor the cleanliness and maintenance of gym equipment and facilities, reporting any issues to the management team.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
7. Financial Assistance:
- Help with budget tracking and financial reporting, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Assist in managing financial transactions, including cash handling and processing payments.
8. Marketing and Promotion:
- Support marketing efforts by creating promotional materials and engaging with members through social media.
- Assist in gathering member feedback and conducting surveys to improve gym services and offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fitness or gym environment.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and gym management software.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
