Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hematologist Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dubai’s retail healthcare sector. This role involves working closely with hematologists and providing support in the diagnosis and treatment of blood-related disorders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hematology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist hematologists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with blood disorders such as anemia, hemophilia, and leukemia.
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking medical histories and performing physical examinations.
- Collect and analyze blood samples, ensuring adherence to proper procedures for sample handling and processing.
- Interpret laboratory results and assist in the development of treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Educate patients and their families about blood disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, and laboratory technicians, to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Participate in patient outreach programs and community health initiatives related to hematology.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in hematology and provide insights to the healthcare team.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all aspects of patient care.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Science, Nursing, or Healthcare).
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience as a Hematologist Assistant or in a related healthcare role.
- Proficient in phlebotomy and laboratory techniques related to hematology.
- Strong knowledge of hematological disorders and treatments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
