Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Highway Inspector to oversee the construction and maintenance of highways and roadways in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all highway projects comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and engineering specifications. The Highway Inspector will work closely with construction teams, engineers, and project managers to facilitate the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and assess the construction and maintenance of highways, roads, and related infrastructure to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor project progress, quality of work, and adherence to project timelines.
- Review engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved guidelines.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions for any non-compliance or deficiencies identified.
- Ensure that materials used in construction meet quality standards and specifications as per project requirements.
- Monitor environmental controls and safety measures on-site to minimize risks and ensure worker safety.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, helping to troubleshoot problems and improve construction techniques.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in highway construction and maintenance projects.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and changes in laws and regulations related to highway construction.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years to 7 years of relevant experience in highway inspection, construction, or civil engineering.
- Strong knowledge of highway construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering plans, specifications, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Working Conditions:
- This position will require working outdoors at construction sites, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Occasional travel to various project sites within Dubai and surrounding areas may be necessary.
