Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Import/Export Analyst to join our dynamic team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our international shipping and logistics operations. This position requires a strong understanding of import/export regulations, customs compliance, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and monitor import and export operations to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and freight forwarders to coordinate logistics and resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process.
- Conduct research on customs regulations and trade agreements to minimize costs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Track and report on shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.
- Maintain and update records of import/export transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures for import/export processes.
- Provide support during audits and inspections by government agencies or customers.
- Stay informed about changes in trade laws and regulations that may affect the company’s operations.
- Prepare detailed reports and analysis on import/export activities and trends for management review.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in import/export operations or a related field.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations and international trade compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with logistics software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding and shipping procedures is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
