Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Security Specialist to join our team in Dubai’s vibrant real estate sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our information assets and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols that protect our digital infrastructure while supporting our mission to provide exceptional real estate services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in our IT systems and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures tailored to the real estate sector to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

- Security Monitoring: Monitor security alerts and events, analyze potential threats, and respond to incidents swiftly to minimize impact on business operations.

- Incident Response: Lead the investigation of security breaches, coordinate incident response efforts, and ensure thorough documentation of all incidents and responses.

- Training and Awareness: Design and deliver security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.

- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and other stakeholders to integrate security measures into existing systems and ensure ongoing compliance with security protocols.

- Vendor Management: Evaluate third-party vendors’ security practices to ensure they meet our security requirements and mitigate risks associated with outsourcing.

- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR and local laws specific to the real estate industry, conducting audits as necessary.

- Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions relevant to the real estate sector.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, preferably within the real estate or financial services industries.
- Strong understanding of information security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and best practices.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
- Familiarity with risk management and compliance frameworks, including data privacy regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
- Knowledge of cloud security practices and technologies.
- Experience with security assessments and penetration testing.
