Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Information Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team in the retail sector based in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing information systems that support our retail operations. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, software development, and data management to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our retail systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- System Analysis & Design: Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Design and develop information systems that meet the needs of various stakeholders within the retail environment.

- Data Management: Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability. Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data storage and retrieval systems.

- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within existing systems. Recommend and implement enhancements to support business objectives.

- User Support & Training: Provide technical support and training to end-users on information systems and software applications. Develop user manuals and documentation to facilitate understanding and engagement.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and management, to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business goals.

- Project Management: Participate in project planning and execution for new system implementations or upgrades. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

- Compliance & Security: Ensure that all information systems comply with industry standards and regulations. Implement security measures to protect sensitive retail data.

- Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide insights into retail performance. Utilize data analytics to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in information systems analysis and design, preferably within the retail sector.
- Strong knowledge of retail management systems, point-of-sale systems, and inventory management solutions.
- Proficiency in database management and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools).
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and project management practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with ERP systems and retail software.
- Understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital retail trends.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices related to information systems.
