Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Instructional Assistant to support our Information Technology (IT) educational programs in Dubai. The ideal candidate will work closely with instructors and students to facilitate an engaging and effective learning environment, helping to foster a strong understanding of IT concepts and skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed in their studies and future careers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist instructors in the delivery of IT courses, including but not limited to programming, networking, cybersecurity, and database management.
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students, helping to clarify complex concepts and ensure understanding of course material.
- Prepare and organize instructional materials, including lesson plans, handouts, and digital resources for use in the classroom.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to instructors regarding students’ performance and engagement.
- Facilitate classroom activities, such as labs and group projects, ensuring all students are actively participating and learning effectively.
- Help troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware and software during classes and assist students in resolving their own technical challenges.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student interaction and collaboration.
- Assist in the assessment and grading of student work, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest trends and technologies in the IT field.
- Support administrative tasks related to course management, such as attendance tracking and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in an instructional or educational support role, preferably in the IT domain.
- Strong understanding of various IT concepts and technologies, including programming languages, software applications, and networking principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools and platforms, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals.
- Knowledge of different learning styles and the ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a higher education setting or vocational training environment.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional design principles.
- Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is an advantage.
