We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as an Insurance Underwriter Assistant in the transportation and logistics industry. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of underwriters to assess and evaluate insurance applications, policies, and risk profiles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist underwriters in evaluating insurance applications and determining coverage levels
- Analyze risk factors and make recommendations for policy approval or rejection
- Assist in calculating premiums and preparing quotes for clients
- Review and update policy documents and ensure accuracy of information
- Communicate with brokers, clients, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information
- Assist in resolving policy-related issues and claims
- Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of insurance policies and regulations in the transportation and logistics industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
