Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Coordinator specializing in healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of interior design projects that enhance the functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of healthcare facilities. The role requires a blend of creativity, technical knowledge, and project management skills to ensure that designs meet the specific needs of healthcare providers and their patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with architects, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to develop design concepts that align with the functional and regulatory requirements of healthcare spaces.
- Assist in the preparation of design presentations, including mood boards, color palettes, and material samples, to communicate design ideas effectively to clients and project teams.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and furnishings, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress, monitor quality of work, and ensure design specifications are being met.
- Maintain an organized project file system, including contracts, correspondence, and design documentation for easy access and reference.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project timelines and milestones are achieved.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in healthcare design, materials, and regulatory requirements to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
- Assist in the management of project budgets, tracking expenses, and preparing reports to ensure financial goals are met.
- Participate in site planning and layout design, considering patient flow, safety regulations, and ADA compliance.
- Support the completion of project documentation, including final design reports, as-built drawings, and maintenance manuals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in interior design, with a focus on healthcare facilities preferred.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and accessibility requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
