Job Description:

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Landscape Designer to join our dynamic team in the consumer goods sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape architecture and design, with an emphasis on creating innovative outdoor spaces that enhance the aesthetic and functional value of residential, commercial, and public environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Concept Development: Create innovative landscape design concepts that align with the vision and objectives of various projects, ensuring they meet both client expectations and sustainability criteria.

- Site Analysis: Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate existing conditions and constraints, including topography, soil quality, climate, and local flora and fauna.

- Design Planning: Develop detailed landscape plans, including layout design, planting schemes, materials selection, and hardscape features, using advanced design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).

- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate landscape designs with overall project plans, ensuring cohesive development and compliance with local regulations.

- Project Management: Oversee landscape projects from conception through to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery.

- Client Interaction: Communicate design ideas and present proposals to clients, incorporating their feedback while guiding them through the design process.

- Sustainability Practices: Incorporate environmentally sustainable practices into designs, promoting the use of native plants, water-efficient irrigation systems, and eco-friendly materials.

- Research and Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technologies in landscape design, applying innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.

- Site Supervision: Conduct site visits to ensure that landscape installations are executed as per design specifications, addressing any issues or modifications as necessary.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-7 years of professional experience in landscape design, preferably within the consumer goods sector.
- Proficient in landscape design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of horticulture, plant selection, and landscape ecology.
- Knowledge of local regulations related to landscape design and environmental sustainability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant design projects and creativity is essential.
