Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Maintenance Worker to join our team in Sharjah, specializing in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring that our facilities present a professional and welcoming environment that reflects the high standards of our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform regular maintenance of landscaped areas, including mowing, trimming, pruning, and weeding to ensure aesthetics and health of plants and turf.
- Assist in the installation of new landscaping features such as walkways, flower beds, and irrigation systems, ensuring adherence to design plans and specifications.
- Monitor and maintain plant health through regular inspections, identifying signs of disease or pest infestation, and taking appropriate corrective measures.
- Operate landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory of plants and materials, and any repairs or replacements needed.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to coordinate landscaping projects and ensure timelines are met.
- Adhere to environmental and safety regulations, ensuring that all maintenance work is conducted in a safe manner, particularly in sensitive areas related to aerospace and defense operations.
- Assist in the design and implementation of seasonal landscaping changes to enhance the visual appeal of the facilities.
- Provide support during special events or projects where additional landscape services are required.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in horticulture or landscape maintenance is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with landscaping tools, machinery, and equipment, along with knowledge of plant care and maintenance practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics to ensure high-quality landscape presentation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently when required.
- Knowledge of safety practices and regulations related to landscape maintenance.
