Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceutical industry, based in Ajman. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving innovation in our manufacturing processes. This position demands strong technical expertise, leadership qualities, and a commitment to excellence in pharmaceutical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to align project objectives with organizational goals.

2. Design and Development:
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of pharmaceutical manufacturing systems and processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate new engineering solutions and technologies.

3. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with local and international regulatory standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Lead investigations into engineering issues, non-conformances, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.

4. Technical Support:
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams and other departments in addressing complex engineering challenges.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement in engineering practices.

5. Team Management:
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of innovation and professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

6. Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective solutions.
- Report on project status, budget adherence, and resource utilization to senior management.

7. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for engineering-related communications with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Present project updates and technical information to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on project progress.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or a related field).
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in engineering roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience in project management and leading engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
