Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance operations within our financial services facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role is essential to ensure that our facilities operate smoothly and safely, providing an optimal working environment for our staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing direction, training, and support to ensure high-quality performance.
- Schedule and assign work orders efficiently to maximize productivity and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.

- Preventive Maintenance:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.

- Repairs and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
- Prepare and present reports on maintenance operations, including performance metrics and budget considerations to upper management.

- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with local safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct training sessions for maintenance staff on safety procedures and best practices.

- Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring that contracts are fulfilled and services meet quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise outsourced maintenance services when required.

- Budget Management:
- Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high service levels.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.

Qualifications:

- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field preferred.

- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in facility maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and tools.

- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus.

Working Conditions:
This role may require occasional evening or weekend work to address urgent maintenance issues. The Lead Maintenance Technician will be expected to be on-call for emergencies.
