We are seeking a talented Lighting Assistant to join our Information Technology team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for lighting design and a keen eye for detail. The Lighting Assistant will work alongside the Lighting Designer to create innovative and visually stunning lighting solutions for a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lighting Designer in creating lighting concepts and designs for projects
- Assist in the preparation of lighting plans and specifications
- Work closely with the project team to ensure that lighting designs meet project requirements and deadlines
- Assist in sourcing lighting fixtures and equipment
- Assist in setting up and programming lighting fixtures for events and installations
- Conduct on-site visits to ensure that lighting designs are implemented correctly
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any lighting-related issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of lighting design principles and techniques
- Proficiency in lighting design software such as AutoCAD, Dialux, or AGi32
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
